The Art of a Perfect Dress

There is a dress that makes it perfect.
One that draws a feminine silhouette and contours the neckline effortlessly.
One that falls on the shoulders and makes comfort and style come together.
One that sparks movement with its unconventional shape and brings out a confident pose.
One that seems to turn up for every occasion because it fit right, looks good and feels great.
Let's say it’s just the one!
When I design, I like to think of myself and other women, what we have in common and what we look for when shopping for a dress. I must confess I love to mix and match but there is nothing as easy as a “one-piece look” to carry yourself into daily life and if the dress can transit into special occasions well there you have it! It becomes love!

Summer is the perfect season to show off a little flair and a little skin, to enjoy a lovely sunny day and the feeling of being at ease with oneself; best if the arms are dressed to perfection and the legs reveal a confident stride.
Over the season, I have realized that a good print is a clever ally to a woman's body.
Whether it's the timeless allure of dots or the geometric intrigue of modern motifs, the right print has the ability to elevate a dress from ordinary to extraordinary.

Envisioning the perfect dress is like capturing poetry in fabric—a harmonious blend of elegance and comfort, tailored to celebrate the feminine form effortlessly.

Drawing on over 20 years of design experience of dress, be it from MATTHILDUR COLLECTION or M x MATTHILDUR, I believe that we are able to transcend trends and fast fashion, by providing timeless designs which are made with quality, care and the female form in mind. The Dress enables a woman to feel her best with a single layer on her body and for that, the empowerment which it brings is certainly magical.

I hope you find your one in our Collections this Spring/Summer season.
